Sno-Skippers of Kandiyohi

The Sno-Skippers Snowmobile Club is deeply committed to developing the next generation of responsible riders. We proudly dedicate ourselves to providing high-quality youth training in both snowmobiling and ATV riding that meets the official safety certification requirements set by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

In partnership with the MN DNR, our club offers 2–3 snowmobile training courses and 2–3 ATV training courses each year. These hands-on programs follow the state-required sequence: students first complete the DNR-approved online safety course, then attend our in-person field training sessions. The trainings cover essential topics including basic vehicle operation, safety rules and laws, trail etiquette, environmental responsibility, and practical riding skills on a dedicated course.

Whether your child is a beginner or looking to sharpen their skills, our certified instructors create a fun, supportive environment where kids learn valuable lifelong lessons while building confidence on the snow and trails — and earn their official Minnesota DNR safety certification.
